PRESTANCIA, meaning “excellence” in “Old World” Spanish and “distinctive” in English, is one of those luxurious, yet unpretentious golf communities that carries its grandeur with understated grace. TPC Prestancia is a member of the Tournament Players Club Network, itself a subsidiary of the PGA TOUR. The network was founded to create and maintain facilities that matched the PGA’s Tour's highest quality for tournaments/events and work to meet stringent environmental standards that help preserve and protect wildlife habitats on or adjacent to the course and facilities.

Developed in 1985, TPC Prestancia was created specifically to host the PGA Senior Tour and has been frequented by golf greats Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Gary Player, and Chi Chi Rodriguez. In addition to the 13 years hosting the Senior Tour, it has hosted eight Chrysler Club Championships and five American Express Invitational Championships.

There are two 18-hole courses at TPC Prestancia, which can be played together.

The Championship Stadium Course is a Member and Guest favorite with its undulating greens. Designed by Ron Garl and TOUR player, Mike Souchak, this course has extensive landing areas that allow for gallery viewing along the expansive fairways.

The classic Players Course, formerly part of the Country Club of Sarasota, was designed by the legendary golf architect, Robert Van Hagge. Distinguishing features include grand oaks, tree lines, doglegs, and carry-over water.

There are also many opportunities to perfect one’s game; In addition to clinics with golf pros, there is a driving range with 24 hitting stations, a private lesson area, and chipping, pitching, and putting greens.
